Senior Portfolio Manager

Career Summary

Richard joined Thomas Miller Investment (Isle of Man) Limited in January 2020 as a Senior Portfolio Manager.   He started his investment career at a local private bank in 2006, firstly as an Assistant Investment Manager and then Investment Manager. He then spent the following years working for a further two local investment firms as a Portfolio Manager, Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Fund Selection. 

In his career to date he has gained significant experience in all aspects of multi-asset portfolio management, working with both private clients and institutional investors. Since joining TMI, he has also been heavily involved in enhancing the company’s ESG capabilities.    

His responsibilities at TMI include chairing the Active Collectives Committee. He is also a member of the Investment Strategy Committee, Fixed Income Committee and Direct Equity Committee.
