Isle of Man Peel Castle Sleepover for Breast Cancer Now

Peel Castle Sleep over

On Saturday 4th May, the IOM Charity Committee sponsored Breast Cancer Now's Sleepover at Peel Castle.

Nearly.60 participants took part, including Ian Young (Head of Operational Control, TMI), and as part of the challenge had to sleep without cover, meaning they were thoroughly drenched by the time it came to set up camp at 11pm. 

Around 10 colleagues from the IOM office came to support Ian and the participants, and there was entertainment from Angela Wells (Finance Assistant, TM IOM) and a local band. 

Thomas Miller sponsored the event alongside Sigco Group, raising money for Breast Cancer Now's efforts on the Isle of Man. The event raised over £20,000 including offline donations.
